Job summary

SusieCakes Bakery is seeking team members to greet guests, deliver premium service, and handle transactions at our bakery locations in Texas. Candidates should enjoy a fast-paced environment and be committed to quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Position emphasizes flexibility in hours, willingness to work weekends/holidays, and collaboration with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to maintain the warm, nostalgic SusieCakes experience.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Previous quick service food handling experience in either hospitality or food & beverage a plus.
• Attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations
• Ability to work in cross functional roles as needed (front-of house & back-of-house)
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and connect with guests. Maintain service quality standards by delivering premium guest service.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored suggestions.
• Handle all guest transactions efficiently and professionally.
• Deliver product on an as-needed basis.
• Perform shifts to open and close the bakery.
• Support kitchen as needed.
• Ensure all food handling meets safety standards.
