Job summary

SusieCakes Bakery in San Antonio seeks a friendly bakery crew member to greet guests, take orders, and deliver products with care. You will help maintain high service standards and ensure accurate transactions in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires reliable transport, flexible hours including weekends, and the ability to work across multiple regional locations. Training is provided, and team discounts apply.

Qualifications

• One year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in quick service food handling is a plus.
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must safely utilize all bakery equipment.
• Ability to work in multiple regional locations
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs.
• Ability to transport product and make deliveries when needed. Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and connect with guests, delivering premium guest service.
• Take and hand out guest orders with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Deliver product on an ongoing basis and according to business needs.
• Answer questions about daily offerings and pricing with confidence.
• Identify and recover guests who are dissatisfied with service and/or product.
• Perform shifts as scheduled to open and close the bakery.
• Perform dishwasher duties as needed.
• Assist culinary team as needed.
• Ensure all food is prepared, handled and stored according to all required food safety code standards.
