Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Bakery Department Manager for the Safeway store in Kahului, Hawaii. You will oversee the Bakery Department, lead a team, ensure quality and freshness, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while driving store success.

You will manage daily production, merchandising, staffing, and compliance with food safety standards in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities for growth and development within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Bakery Department operations, ensuring high standards for quality, freshness, presentation, and customer service
• Foster a welcoming, customer-focused environment and resolve customer concerns and special orders
• Plan and execute daily bakery production based on sales trends and seasonal demand
• Execute merchandising plans, promotions, planograms, and seasonal programs
• Manage department sales, labor, scheduling, ordering, inventory, and shrink
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements
• Hire, train, coach, and develop bakery associates while promoting teamwork and accountability
