Qualifications

• Knowledge of bakery operations and merchandising.
• Experience supervising people, including training and development.
• Strong guest service and selling skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lb. regularly and 50 lb. occasionally.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to stand for extended periods.
• Proficient with computers and able to read and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from bakery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the bakery department.
• Maintain inventory and supplies at desired levels.
• Operate department per merchandising and operational guidelines.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety per company standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to staff.
• Handle product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service tasks as needed.
• Manage department labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by management.
