Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude and the ability to interact with customers.
• Strong communication skills; ability to take and give direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; assist with housekeeping in the department.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and operate bakery equipment.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and monitor product quality.
• Unload deliveries and operate bakery equipment.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, and train team members.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
