Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Bakery Manager for the Edgewater Commons location to direct all functions of the Bakery Department, drive sales and profitability, and lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. The role reports to the General Store Manager and requires strong leadership and food-safety knowledge.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, scheduling, and ensuring product quality and compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English proficiently.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with various products and in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department operations.
• Lead and engage associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies.
• Maintain product quality, pricing, and display standards.
