• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that match orders and correct portions.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare and mix ingredients with various utensils.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintain temperature logs.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment and assist customers with questions.
