The Kroger Co. is seeking a Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) to create outstanding customer experiences by providing friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment. You will assist the department manager in sales and profit goals while upholding food safety and quality standards.

As a Bakery/Deli Clerk, you will prepare items to order, offer samples, inform customers of specials, and promote the store's products with a focus on accuracy, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills are essential for assisting customers and resolving questions.
• Clear communication helps interact with customers and teammates.
• Basic math helps with cash handling and measurements.
• Ability to obtain a current food handlers permit once employed.

Responsabilités

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Bakery/Deli Clerk should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will inform customers of bakery and/or deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered and the correct portion size.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to customers to ensure they get the products they want and need.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
