The Kroger Co. is hiring for a Bakery/Deli Clerk who will help create an outstanding customer experience in a safe, clean environment. You will assist the department manager in hitting sales and profit goals while upholding quality standards and our Customer 1st strategy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items or products they inquire about.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods according to temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
