Responsibilities

• Offer samples and prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Recommend bakery items to help customers find what they need.
• Check product quality and freshness, review sell-by dates, and operate bakery equipment per guidelines.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies.
• Label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise.
• Report discrepancies to the department manager and maintain store layout knowledge.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations and loss prevention rules.
