Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions.
• Maintain knowledge of department products and offer suggestions.
• Prepare bakery items including wedding cakes on request using bakery equipment.
• Decorate cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies and other bakery items.
• Label, stock, sign, and inventory department merchandise.
• Ensure quality and freshness; monitor sell-by dates.
• Follow safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Report discrepancies and inventory issues to the department manager.
• Understand store layout and respond to customer requests.
• Prevent maintenance and report safety risks.
