Job summary

SusieCakes in Dallas is seeking a full-time team member to greet guests and deliver premium service in a busy bakery. You will handle transactions, support front and back-of-house tasks, and help create a welcoming guest experience.

Requirements include at least a high school diploma and 1 year in customer service; ability to operate bakery equipment; flexible schedule including weekends/holidays; reliable transportation preferred. Benefits include PTO, holidays off, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
• Previous quick service food handling experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to safely utilize all bakery equipment.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet, welcome, and connect with guests while delivering premium service.
• Maintain service standards and handle guest transactions efficiently.
• Perform shifts to open/close the bakery and assist the culinary team as needed.
• Ensure food handling and storage comply with safety codes.
• Answer questions about offerings and pricing with confidence.
• Identify and recover guests who are dissatisfied with service.
