Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package all baked goods while delivering friendly, fast-paced customer service in our bakery department.

You''ll assist the Bakery Manager with baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising, keep the area clean and safe, stock and rotate products, and handle special orders and phones. A high school diploma and 1–2 years bakery experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with good communication and teamwork.
• Able to take direction and interact well with customers.
• Must have or obtain a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, package, and merchandise all bakery items.
• Provide high level of customer service and keep bakery area clean and presentable.
• Maintain a clean, safe bakery area and equipment; clean shelves and floors.
• Stock, rotate, and price bakery products; discard outdated items.
• Receive and inspect shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Answer phones and take special orders as needed.
