Job summary

ShopRite of Mullica Hill in Browns NJ is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support daily operations in the Bakery Department. You will assist the Bakery Manager with pricing, stocking, and rotating merchandise, and maintain a neat, clean, and visually appealing department while delivering friendly customer service.

The role requires physical stamina, lifting up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
• Basic math skills for pricing and counting.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to stand, lift 25–50 lbs, and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Price, stock, rotate, and replenish bakery items; ensure accurate signage.
• Follow QA and sanitation standards and Company policies.
• Assist in other departments and work overtime as needed.
