Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent, with 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping: sanitize work area and keep department clean.
• Operate tools like knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, disposal, and lifting equipment.
• Stand for up to 3 hours at a time, with lifting requirements up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented properly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; keep shelves tidy and floors clean.
• Stock, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team efforts.
