Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Bakery Clerk to assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods. You will deliver high-level customer service, ensure proper presentation, and maintain a clean, safe bakery area.

The role requires flexibility across shifts, 18+ years old, with 1–2 years bakery experience or equivalent education/experience. You will interact with customers and support the team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; with 1-2 years Bakery experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedule that changes; including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show an outgoing and friendly behavior, have a positive attitude and the ability to interact with our customers.
• Have good communication skills; and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and sanitize work area.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure Bakery items are prepared, packaged, and presented; maintain cleanliness of the Bakery area
• Maintain clean, safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment including shelves, floors, and bins
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy while managing rotation of bakery products
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment as needed, and move items safely
