Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods while delivering friendly, fast service to customers. You’ll assist in baking, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe bakery area in a high-energy retail environment.

The role requires 1–2 years bakery experience or equivalent, a high school diploma, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights. DailyPay and competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with HS diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor; strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the department.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers and related equipment.
• Stand for up to 3 hours; lift up to 40 lbs. as needed; follow safety rules.
• Must have Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper presentation and cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Keep bakery area clean, safe, and sanitary; sweep and sanitize surfaces.
• Stock, rotate, price, and face bakery items; discard outdated products.
• Receive and inspect shipments for temperature, quantity, and quality.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment and assist as needed.
