Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare, bake, package and present baked goods while delivering excellent customer service. You will support the Bakery Manager, maintain clean, safe work areas and ensure accurate pricing and product rotation in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience, or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers and take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and keep bakery items properly prepared, packaged and presented; maintain cleanliness.
• Keep bakery area clean, safe and sanitary; sweep floors and sanitize surfaces.
• Stock, fill, face and ensure pricing accuracy; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect and log products for accuracy of shipment, temperature and quality.
