Sprouts Farmers Market in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prep, bake, package, and merchandise baked goods while delivering friendly, proactive customer service. You will assist the Bakery Manager and ensure items are well presented in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 18+ with a HS diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years bakery experience, ability to work nights/weekends/holidays, stand for long periods, and lift up to 40 lbs. Food Handlers permit is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain sanitation and safety.
• Food Handlers permit completion and compliance with safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure items are properly prepared, packaged and presented.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors and fixtures.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment quality and temperature.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and support team needs.
