Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience, or an acceptable education/experience mix.
• Flexible schedule required; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction and teamwork skills.
• Good communication and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders; maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high level customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented cleanly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment; clean shelves, floors, and cases.
• Stock, rotate, and ensure pricing accuracy; discard outdated items as needed.
• Receive and inspect products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast paced environment and contribute to team success.
