Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation in a fast-paced, customer-focused department.

You will assist the Bakery Manager, stock and price products, maintain cleanliness and safety, and provide friendly service to customers while handling special orders and work with team members to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize work areas.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks; weigh and label products.
• Stand for up to 3 hours, with lifting up to 40 lbs; maintain safety and Food Handlers permit.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high levels of customer service and ensure items are prepared, packaged, and presented; keep the area clean.
• Maintain clean, safe bakery area and equipment; sweep and remove spills.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard expired items.
• Receive, inspect, and log products for shipment accuracy and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and support team needs.
