Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is hiring a Bakery Clerk to prepare and package baked goods in a fast-paced environment. You will support the Bakery Manager with prep, baking, packaging, and merchandising while delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll maintain cleanliness and safety in the bakery, weigh and label products, and assist customers with special orders, all while upholding quality and freshness across the department.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years Bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to take direction and assist in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.
• Able to weigh and label products, use basic bakery equipment, and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods.
• Assist Bakery Manager with prep, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain clean, sanitary bakery area.
• Stock, rotate, and check pricing; inspect shipments for quality and temperature.
