Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience or a comparable education/experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly; strong communication and teamwork.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks safely.
• Must stand for long periods; safe handling of heavy items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high level of customer service and maintain cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Stock, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipment quality and temperature.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary bakery area and equipment.
