Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide a high level of customer service and ensure proper preparation and presentation of bakery items.
• Keep the bakery area clean, safe, and sanitary; mop, sweep, and organize shelves.
• Stock, face, and verify pricing; rotate items and discard outdated products.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for temperature and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
