Job summary

Chedraui USA is hiring a Bakery Clerk for the Houston area. Under supervision from the Bakery Manager, you will assist customers, handle bakery displays, and support daily department tasks in a fast-paced grocery setting.

This role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, the ability to lift, and a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification. Basic PC/Outlook skills are a plus; prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish/English required to interact with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and memos in both English and Spanish.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds occasionally and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Keep displays, shelves, and self-serve cases clean and organized.
• Collaborate with bakers to determine items to bake or decorate.
