Job summary

Chedraui USA is seeking a Bakery Clerk for our Dallas store. You will assist customers with bakery purchases, keep shelves clean, and support bakery operations including special orders with the Baker. You will help rotate displays and ensure cleanliness in the bakery area.

Qualified candidates will read and write English and Spanish, hold a Food Handler Card, and be able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally. Retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and speak both English and Spanish to interact with customers and co-workers.
• Hold a Food Handler Card or equivalent certification to handle food.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills can be helpful.
• Retail management and supervisory training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery purchases and provide friendly service.
• Clean shelving and display cases; rotate self-serve displays in bakery and front of store.
• Collaborate with Baker to take special orders and determine which items require baking or decoration.
• Assist with department cleaning and maintain cleanliness in bakery areas.
• Perform general tasks under Bakery Manager guidance.
• Handle food according to Food Handler Card certification.
