Job summary

Fiesta Mart, part of the Chedraui USA group, is seeking a Bakery Clerk at the 004 Houston-Spencer Hwy location. You will provide friendly service, help customers with bakery purchases, and support daily bakery operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, read and communicate in Spanish and English, and work collaboratively with the Bakery team to ensure product quality and cleanliness. This is an on-site position in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to Bakery customers and assist with purchases.
• Assist customers with bakery orders and special requests.
• Clean, restock and rotate bakery displays and shelves, both in the front and near the bakery.
• Collaborate with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate and support department cleanliness.
• Assist with department cleaning and general store upkeep and safety.
