Job summary

Panera LLC seeks a General Manager to lead a beloved neighborhood bakery-cafe to success, owning day-to-day operations, staffing, and guest experience. You will drive performance, culture, and guest satisfaction while upholding Panera standards across quality and service.

The role requires strong business acumen, the ability to motivate a fast-paced team, and a commitment to Panera’s guiding values. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the bakery-cafe team, plan staffing, scheduling, development, performance management, and succession planning.
• Hire, onboard, train new team members and motivate the team.
• Manage performance to meet goals, quality standards, and extraordinary guest service.
• Develop managers on people processes and Panera’s guiding values and behaviors.
• Ensure operations follow procedures and initiative-driven strategies.
• Maintain guest satisfaction through food, service, and staff quality.
• Build relationships to foster long-term guest loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace and manage costs and inventory.
