You will partner with the General Manager on operations, hiring, training, and development, and you’ll inspire and celebrate your team while ensuring quality food and service.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, and cost control with a focus on growth, culture, and engagement. This role requires flexibility for nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven ability to lead shifts, motivate, coach and develop others in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and solving problems.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Manage team performance to achieve bakery-cafe goals and uphold quality standards and guest service.
• Partner with the General Manager to develop managers on processes and Panera values.
• Grow guest satisfaction by ensuring food quality, service, and teamwork.
• Build relationships to create long-term, loyal guests as part of management.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to policies and local regulations; maintain a safe workplace.
• Support General Manager in controlling costs and inventory; contribute to culture of warmth and growth.
