Panera LLC in Elizabethtown, KY is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead a beloved bakery-cafe to success. You will inspire your team, partner with the General Manager, delight guests daily, and grow the business while owning hiring, onboarding, and development at your location.

You will drive staffing, training, and performance, ensuring quality standards and extraordinary service. This role requires flexibility for nights and weekends and a commitment to Panera’s guiding values.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.
• Proven availability to run great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others.

Responsibilities

• Support General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, career development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, on-boarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Assist with managing team performance to meet bakery-cafe goals and guest service expectations.
• Partner with the General Manager to develop managers on people’s processes and Panera’s Guiding Values.
• Work as a team to ensure guest delight in food, service, and atmosphere.
• Build relationships to foster long-term, loyal guests as part of the management team.
• Follow procedures to execute company strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure policies and regulations are followed; maintain a safe workplace.
• Assist in maintaining bakery-cafe costs and inventory.
