Panera LLC in Ephrata, PA seeks an Assistant General Manager Lead to inspire a bakery-cafe team and partner with the General Manager on operations. You’ll hire, train, and develop staff while driving guest satisfaction and business growth in a welcoming, fast-paced environment.

You’ll lead staffing, schedules, and performance to meet quality standards and costs, upholding Panera’s guiding values and behaviors. Competitive compensation with opportunities for bonuses and growth.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager by making key decisions and problem solving.
• Plan and manage staffing needs, shift scheduling, people development, and succession planning.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members while motivating and celebrating the team.
• Help manage performance to achieve guest service, quality standards, and cost controls.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera’s Guiding Values & Behaviors.
• Ensure every guest is delighted by the quality of food and service.
