Job summary

Hamra Enterprises is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in leading a bakery-cafe, ensuring exceptional guest service and driving business growth. The AGM will own hiring, onboarding, and development of the team, while executing company strategies and maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will partner with the GM to build managers, manage staffing, and foster a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust across the team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bakery-cafe operations in partnership with the General Manager.
• Plan staffing, scheduling, and career development for the team.
• Hire, onboard, train, and motivate new team members.
• Support performance management to meet goals and guest service standards.
