Wilson Farm Inc. in Lexington, MA is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our Retail Bakery department.

You will support the Retail Bakery Manager with daily operations, oversee staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and help manage the bakery's inventory, pricing, and vendor orders. In this role you will lead a team, schedule shifts, handle customer inquiries, and maintain a clean, well-organized bakery display.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Shift Leader/Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a retail food/bakery setting.
• Customer service experience preferably in a retail food/bakery, food service, restaurant setting.
• Full-time schedule including opening/closing shifts; ability to work holidays and varying hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist Retail Bakery Manager with daily and weekly responsibilities.
• Lead and support Retail Bakery staff, providing direction and communicating department priorities.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and coverage to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage inventory, pricing accuracy, and placing orders with vendors.
• Oversee display and cleanliness to maintain freshness and appealing presentation.
