Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Los Angeles is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily bakery operations, driving sales, and delivering an outstanding guest experience while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coach and develop a high-performing team, handle recruiting, scheduling, inventory, and daily reporting, and step in as Manager on Duty when needed to keep the bakery running smoothly and joyfully.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, bakery, or food service environments.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bakery operations.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and service goals.
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling staff.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Monitor bakery performance, sales results, and labor costs to support business objectives.
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and product quality.
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash management, and daily reporting.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and make operational decisions in the absence of the General Manager.
