Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in Los Angeles area locations. You will lead daily bakery operations, coach staff, and drive sales while maintaining top food safety and quality standards.

The role focuses on team development, guest satisfaction, scheduling, and reporting to ensure smooth operations and a positive, high-energy workplace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, bakery, or food service
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bakery operations
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and service goals
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling staff
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns
• Monitor bakery performance, sales results, and labor costs to support business objectives
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and product quality
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash management, and daily reporting
• Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture
• Serve as Manager on Duty and make operational decisions in the absence of the General Manager
