Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager in overseeing daily bakery operations and driving a standout guest experience. You will lead and develop a team, manage scheduling and training, and ensure food safety and quality across all processes.

You will monitor sales and labor costs, support opening/closing procedures, and make operational decisions as Manager on Duty when the GM is unavailable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, bakery, or food service environments.
• Experience leading teams to meet performance and service goals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bakery operations
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and service goals
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling staff
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns
• Monitor bakery performance, sales results, and labor costs to support business objectives
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and product quality
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash management, and daily reporting
• Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture
• Serve as Manager on Duty and make operational decisions in the absence of the General Manager
