Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Burbank is seeking a General Manager to lead all bakery operations, inspire a high-performing team, drive sales and profitability, and ensure every guest enjoys the quality, service, and experience that define our brand.

You will recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop staff; manage labor, scheduling, payroll, food costs, and inventories while upholding food safety and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management experience in retail, restaurant, bakery, hospitality, or food service operations.
• Proven leadership experience with responsibility for hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong business acumen with experience managing sales, labor, and operating costs.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and building strong teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proficiency with scheduling, reporting, and operational systems.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as business needs require.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bakery operations

• Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Analyze business metrics and implement action plans to improve operational performance
• Partner with ownership and leadership to execute business strategies and achieve organizational objectives
• Support community engagement and local marketing initiatives to grow brand awareness
