Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager and oversee daily bakery operations. You will lead and develop the team, drive sales, ensure food safety, and maintain high standards of quality and guest service.

Responsibilities include hiring, scheduling, inventory management, and reporting, with a focus on creating a positive, accountable culture. Weekend and holiday flexibility is required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, bakery, or food service.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and operational metrics preferred.
• Dependable, results-oriented, and able to maintain high standards.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bakery operations in partnership with the General Manager.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to meet performance and service goals.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and scheduling staff.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly.
• Monitor sales, labor costs, and bakery performance to support objectives.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and product quality.
• Support opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reporting.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and make decisions in the General Manager's absence.
