Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Baker Assistant to support both front-of-house and back-of-house operations while assisting the Baker and PIC. The role requires standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced, open-kitchen environment.

You will greet guests, handle payments, prepare drinks at the Tea Bar, and assist with baking prep and ingredient weighing. Training is provided and benefits are offered for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• Front and back of house duties as directed by PIC.
• Maintaining cleanliness and appearance of the store.
• Local food safety requirements such as Food Handler certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Front of House and Back of House duties as directed by the Person in Charge.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the store.
• Greeting and serving Guests.
• Handling payment at the cash register.
• Preparing drinks at the Tea Bar.
• Preparing ingredients for baking, including portioning, weighing, and storing ingredients.
• Packaging cakes into boxes.
