Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is hiring a Baker Assistant to support the Baker and PIC in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will perform Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) duties, greet guests, and help with drinks at the Tea Bar while assisting with baking prep.

The role requires reliability, ability to stand long hours, and adherence to food safety. Local requirements such as Food Handler certification may be needed; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Some high school
• Local/municipal requirements, such as Food Handler certification, acquired at applicant’s own expense

Responsibilities

• Perform Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) duties as directed by the Person in Charge (PIC)
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the store
• Greeting and serving Guests
• Handling payment at the cash register
• Preparing drinks at the Tea Bar
• Preparing ingredients for baking, including portioning, weighing, and storing ingredients
• Packaging cakes into boxes
