• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well-groomed, in clean uniform and practices good personal hygiene.
• Makes and prepares all food items baked in oven including pies, muffins, cookies, quiche, meatloaf and ribs.
• Adjusts oven temperature controls.
• Monitors food temperatures during hot and cold handling to reduce foodborne risks.
• Measures ingredients for bakery goods and shapes dough as required.
• Prepares meats or baked foods according to recipes using kitchen tools.
• Tests foods for doneness by tasting and smelling.
• Serves high quality food and ensures items are complete and attractive.
• During peak times, will work on steam kettles and the grill line.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen stations and work areas.
