Perkins Restaurant & Bakery is seeking a Baker to prepare a variety of baked goods and assist in kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include baking pies, muffins, cookies, quiche, and more, while maintaining cleanliness and meeting quality standards. The role requires good hygiene, clear communication, and the ability to work peak hours on steam kettles and grill lines.

Qualifications

• Sanitation, safety, and customer service basics taught through in-house training.
• Must be able to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well-groomed, in proper uniform and practices good personal hygiene.
• Makes and prepares all bakery items such as pies, muffins, cookies, quiche, meatloaf and ribs.
• Adjusts oven controls to regulate temperature.
• Monitors food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
• Prepares ingredients, measures, and shapes dough and batter.
• Puts dough onto sheets or pans and bakes.
• Ensures high quality, attractive presentation and timely service.
• Operates steam kettles and grill line during peak times.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen stations and works areas.
