Qualifications

• Basic sanitation, safety, and customer service taught through in-house training
• Must be able to communicate clearly

Responsibilities

• Reports to work well-groomed, in clean and proper uniform and practices good personal hygiene.
• Makes and prepares all baked goods including pies, muffins, cookies, quiche, meatloaf and ribs.
• Adjusts controls to regulate oven temperature.
• Monitors and oversees food temperatures to reduce risk factors in foodborne illness.
• Measures ingredients and portions dough, mixes by hand or with mixer, cuts dough.
• Prepares meats or baked foods according to recipes using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Observes and tests foods for doneness by tasting, smelling, and piercing.
• Serves high quality food; ensures items are complete and attractively presented.
• Works on steam kettles and grill line during peak business.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen stations and manages time effectively.
