Job summary

Honu Bakery in Honolulu, Hawaii is hiring apprentice bakers with no professional baking experience required. This entry-level role offers hands-on training under our head bakers and cake decorators, with morning shifts starting around 6:30–7:30 AM.

You'll learn to prepare dough, bake breads and pastries, shape dough, decorate cakes, prep ingredients, and maintain a clean workspace while developing teamwork and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Qualifications

• No baking experience required, but kitchen experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work morning shifts.

What You’ll Be Learning & Doing:

• How to prepare dough and bake fresh breads and pastries
• Basics of shaping and making pastries
• Light cake/cupcake decorating and fixing presentation issues
• Prepping ingredients for the next day’s production
• Keeping a clean and organized workstation

What We’re Looking For:
