Job summary

Envoy Air is seeking a baggage handler to support baggage operations at the airport. You will assist with lost/damaged luggage claims and help passengers at the baggage claim area, including assisting passengers with disabilities.

You will remove unclaimed luggage, stack items on carts, and ensure secure storage areas while handling bags weighing up to 75 lbs. The role requires physical stamina and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or international equivalent).
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers with claims for lost or damaged luggage.
• Provide announcements or assistance to disabled passengers at baggage claim.
• Remove unclaimed bags from the carousel.
• Stack unclaimed items onto baggage carts/ storage racks in secure areas (items may weigh 33–75 lbs).
• Track and reconcile all passenger baggage claims.
• Push/pull baggage carts using two hands with 51.4–75 lbs force.
