Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking a SCADA/SAC/BPI Operator to monitor baggage control applications and IT systems. You will work across the SCADA and related control software to manage flight and baggage flow, apply contingencies, and respond to incidents in a 24/7 environment.

You'll collaborate with the O&M team, customers, partners, and suppliers; perform problem and change management, document issues, and support operational continuity. This role requires shift work and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Experienced with intralogistics and operational environments.
• Experience managing 24/7 mission-critical systems.
• Excellent communication skills in customer-facing roles.
• Willingness to work an ongoing shift schedule including holidays.
• Team player with adaptability.
• Experience with Oracle/WebLogic databases.

Responsibilities

• Guide daily operations using controls software with customers and colleagues.
• Alert maintenance of faults and dispatch personnel.
• Monitor SCADA for issues and diebacks.
• Initiate diversions and contingency protocols.
• Serve as first point of contact for operational issues and customers’ requests.
• Communicate system disruptions and log information; support ITSM/CMMS processes.
• Initiate incident management and escalate to remote helpdesk.
• Research system issues and propose improvements to prevent disruptions.
• Coordinate routing and escalation for major incidents.
• Report system status to customers and stakeholders per SLAs.
• Perform preventive maintenance of control room equipment.
