Job summary

Vanderlande Industries GmbH in Orlando, FL is seeking a SCADA/SAC/BPI Operator to monitor baggage control systems and IT infrastructure, including VIBES HLCS, via SCADA around the clock. You will manage baggage flow, apply contingencies, reschedule flights and communicate with customers and partners to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in intralogistics or automated systems; background in airports baggage handling is a plus.
• Experience managing 24/7 mission-critical IT environments.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Willingness to work a rotating 8-hour shift schedule, including holidays.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Guide daily operations using control software and SCADA systems.
• Notify maintenance personnel of faults and coordinate dispatch.
• Monitor SCADA for issues; initiate contingencies and diverts as needed.
• Serve as first contact for operational issues and customer requests.
• Document disruptions and communicate with customers under SLA constraints.
• Lead incident management and ITIL processes; escalate as required.
• Analyze issues, develop remedies, and prevent repeats.
• Coordinate with IT and operations to maintain smooth baggage handling.
