Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food promptly, aiding with dining room cleanliness, and maintaining service stations. Excellent guest service is expected from all team members.

The role requires no prior experience and a minimum age of 18, with ability to stand and lift up to 30 lbs. Training is provided, and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess or obtain a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, balance, and lift objects up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Monitor the expo line and assist with dining room cleanliness.
• Clear and sanitize tables, seating, and floors to standards.
• Retrieve and transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate kitchen equipment and POS systems as required.
• Greet and assist guests, answer phones, and help with takeout orders.
