Job summary

P.F. Chang's is hiring a Backwaiter to support restaurant operations by delivering food to guests promptly and courteously. You will help maintain dining room cleanliness and service stations while providing excellent guest experiences.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teamwork and fast-paced hospitality environments. No prior experience is required; training is provided. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and may need a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong communication with guests and team members.
• Must be able to stand, reach, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests promptly and courteously.
• Monitor expo line and assist with dine-in tray runs.
• Clear and sanitize tables and dining areas per standards.
• Transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station.
• Restock and clean service stations as needed.
• Operate coffee/tea machines and POS systems as required.
• Greet and assist guests, answer phones, and support takeout when needed.
• Assist with beverage preparation and responsible alcohol service when required.
