The City of Atlanta is seeking a Backflow/Cross Connection Inspector to protect the water system by inspecting backflow assemblies, performing cross-connection tests, and reviewing plans for compliance. You will manage data, generate reports, and communicate with customers and partners to ensure regulatory adherence.

You will work under the Backflow/Cross Connection manager, conducting field inspections, organizing records, and ensuring proper documentation and timely responses to violations

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in water distribution and backflow prevention.
• State of Georgia Water Distribution Certification.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Inspect backflow assemblies and conduct cross-connection tests.
• Review construction plans and determine containment requirements.
• Maintain records in backflow software and notify customers of violations.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors and engineers.
